Thomas P. Hanlon 87, of Peabody, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at the
Kaplan House in Danvers. He was the devoted husband of Patricia A. (Higgins)
Hanlon. Son of the late William and Alice (Cullen) Hanlon. He was predeceased by his
brother William & his sister, Doris Koning and is survived by his sister Elizabeth
Lochman of Merrimack, NH. Tom also had several nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Malden Catholic High School and Stonehill College class of 1960.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Korean War and
was honorably discharged in 1956 earning the rank of Corporal.

Following his graduation from college Tom worked for many years for Mobil Oil. He
eventually worked for the Somerville/Medford Court as a Court Officer before retiring.

Tom was an avid sports fan. He spent many years enjoying games with his closest
friend James Carr at the Brighton Elks. He also enjoyed playing golf.

Interment will be held privately.

He will be greatly missed.
