Veronica R. Mello (née Williams) passed away on July 3, 2024, in Quincy, MA at the age of 81. Born on March 28, 1943, in Durham, UK, Veronica embarked on a courageous journey to the United States at the age of 19. She built a beautiful life, marrying her true love with whom she celebrated fifty years of marriage and raised two children. Veronica leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and love through her family and the countless lives she touched.

She is survived by her children, Lesley Fraine and Joseph Mello; and her beloved grandchildren, Brittney Fraine, Cynthia Fraine, Daniel Fraine, Grant Mello, and Carson Mello. Veronica was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mello, and her parents, Nora (Robson) and Charles Williams.

A memorial observance will be held at 287 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148, on Thursday, July 18th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Funeral Mass Services will follow at Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Hwy, Roslindale, MA 02131, on Friday, July 19th, at 11:30 AM.

Veronica’s life was marked by her infectious laughter and the incredible ability to bring joy to those around her. Her legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
