Vincent (“Big Vin”) Cianciaruso passed away on January 18, 2021 after a courageous
battle with gastro-intestinal cancer in the loving presence of Pamela, his wife of 49 years. Big
Vin was born in Gaeta, Italy but was as American as apple pie, having spent his entire career as a
laborer with the Laborers’ Union Local #151 proudly helping build most major high-rises in
Cambridge and downtown Boston.
His greatest achievement, however, was the family he built. Always in his heart were his
two sons, Vincent (“Little Vin”), Billy, and daughter, Trystan. He also leaves behind his beloved
grandchildren, TJ, Alex, and Abby Cianciaruso.
Due to precautions surrounding Covid-19, services will be held at a later date when it is
safe to gather. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in
memory of Vincent Cianciaruso to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber
Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or via www.jimmyfund.org/gift.
Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.
