She was born to the late Leonidas and Leona Galipeau on February 13, 1934 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Vivian graduated from Saint Anthony High School in 1952. She worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) office for the city of New Bedford, and after retirement volunteered for the EEO in North Andover.

She married the late Jacintho Vincent, and they lived together in New Bedford for fifty years before relocating to North Andover. Vivian is survived by two children and their wives: Mark and Bonnie Vincent, of North Andover and Peter and Sue Vincent of Taunton. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Alyssa Vincent and Jason Vincent.

Vivian was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and is still remembered for her cheesecake. She was an avid reader, puzzle-maker and the family photographer. Vivian was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Vivian can be remembered with a donation to Massachusetts Eye and Ear research.

Vivan lived at Sutton Pond in No. Andover. We became fast friends. We had the same eye issues. She was kind, compassionate and gracious. She once gave me a planter which I always admired in her Condo.
When she moved I called her a few times and we would discuss eye procedures and surgeons. Simply stated “Vivan was a Class Act”. She will be terribly missed. Deepest sympathy to her loving family.
