William Thomas McManus, age 65, of Beacon Hill Boston, passed away on May 13th 2024 after a short time in the hospital with multiple illnesses that were just recently discovered. Bill…aka Billcha was born on February 19th 1959 to Margaret and James McManus in Boston MA. Bill was raised in Houghs Neck in Quincy. He participated in multiple town league sports and enjoyed his summers on the waters and islands around the peninsula of “The Neck”. After high school Bill made a living in construction and always kept close ties to his original group of beloved childhood friends “Neckers”. Bill was preceded by his parents Jim and Peg, sister Trisha, and brothers Jim and Joe. He is survived by his Daughter Jacoall Bergstrom, her daughter Sollei Quirama, his aunt Joan Roach, and many super close and loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.His ashes will be scattered in the Peddocks Island area of Quincy Bay when the weather gets warmer.
