Died December 8th, 2022, at the age of 83, from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. Born 09/12/1939 in Warsaw, NY

Predeceased by her loving husband Bob, she is survived by daughters Katherine Hurley of Quincy, MA, and Amanda Zwald of Chicago, IL; Michael Hurley adored son-in-law; Maxwell Hurley and Samuel Hurley, perfect grandsons; sister-in-law Patricia Kuypers and nephew Jonas Tomlinson, several adored cousins and dear friends.

Judy was a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. After raising her daughters,  she earned a BA in graphic arts from La Roche College in Pittsburgh and had a long career creating catalogs for some grateful companies in Rochester, NY. Artist, gardener, avid reader, cook, seamstress, musician, and community activist. She was humble and wildly funny. A great listener and wise counsel. We were lucky to have her. The family will hold a celebration of life in both Boston and Rochester at a later date.
