Ward W. Weizel, 64 Newton resident, Ward W. Weizel, 64, died suddenly on April 21, 2012. Ward was born June 21, 1948, to Marilyn and Edward Weizel and grew up in Hyde Park, MA. Ward attended Boston English High School and went on to Boston University. After graduation, Ward served in the United States Army as a military police officer during the Vietnam War. Upon completing his tour of duty, Ward graduated from Suffolk Law School. Ward lived in Westwood with his family for over 20 years while practicing law in the Boston Metro-West area. He retired from a successful 30-year practice in 2011. An avid history buff, Ward loved to read and visit historical sites in Boston with his two daughters. Ward is survived by his loving wife, Jan, his two daughters, Lavinia and Rebecca, his brother Clifford Weizel, of Quincy, MA, and his step-mother, Peg Weizel of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
