On October 14, 1944, Patricia Ann Sutton Ferguson was born to the late Marie and Clyde Sutton in Philadelphia, Pa.

Patricia was educated in the Philadelphia Public School system. Attending Landreth Elementary School, Audreid Reed Middle School, graduating from South Philadelphia High School. Patricia married her High School sweetheart Richard Ferguson in 1962. Pat worked at Tom’s Plaza in Philadelphia as a hostess. She spent several years as a daycare provider and many successful years as a certified Nursing Aid and a Physical Therapist at Park Avenue Nursing Home and Pine Knoll Nursing Home.

All of us who knew our Mother was a no-nonsense person.

She fought long and hard and we will miss her every day!

Patricia is survived by her children Shanda, Crystal & Malik. Her grandchildren Adrianne, Malika, Jordan, Deven, Mikayla, Marie and Katana. Her sister Cassandra Sutton- Barrett, Andrea Barrett and many other family and friends.

In celebration of her life, we have asked family and friends to share some of their most memorable moments about our mom and some hilarious stories. All are invited to attend Patricia’s memorial service on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 1pm in Bigelow Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA. Please share at her service.
