Victoria Collins

Victoria B. Collins (Vickie), 68 of Foxboro Mass, formerly a long-time resident of Mansfield passed away  on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 after a valiant fight with cancer at home surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Collins was born in New York; She was the daughter of the late Mary Souza and Francis Collins.

She worked for Robert Allen textiles, in Mansfield, MA. for over 15 years and then the Hilco company, in Plainville, MA. For 11 years before her recent retirement. She enjoyed anything having to do with art, color, nature, the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Some of Vickie’s favorite pastimes were drawing, painting, gardening, listening to music, attending jazz festivals, going to local art festivals and spending time with her grandchildren. Vickie looked forward to every holiday adding fun and zest to every single one of them. Family members have always looked  forward to special traditions carried on for years such as: an annual egg hunt and games to win prizes at  Easter, baking anisette cookies and gifts on top of gifts at Christmas. She also enjoyed time with her friends at the Newport jazz festivals and the Hampton Beach sandcastles. She enjoyed road trips to Plymouth, Maine, and New Hampshire.

Vickie is survived by: her two daughters, Tanya Hannon and her husband Mark of Foxborough, MA, and  Toni Bingel Pied and her husband David of Gardiner, Maine. Her seven grandchildren Kyle, Sam, Liam,  Benjamin, and Charlotte Hannon, and Samuel and Sawyer Pied. She also leaves behind two devoted  brothers Richard Collins and his wife Adele of Plymouth, MA. And Edward Collins and his wife Sheri of  Monmouth, Maine. As well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Vickie touched the lives of so many. She was a devoted mother, vovo, auntie, sister, and friend. Her  daughters encourage you to take time to walk in nature or take a spontaneous road trip, and enjoy  every color and sound the world has to offer in memory of their mother. Treasure your time with loved ones.

    Mumma B,
I was so blessed to have your love over the years! So many laughs, hugs, stories, memories, learning moments to mention here. You have raised two fine women that I will forever hold close to my heart!
It was so hard to see you in pain the other night and know I could do very little to ease it. Now you are pain free, and we now feel the pain of loosing someone so special to us.
Much love and respect to you, and your beautiful family!!!

I will always love Vickie. The physical distance between us was made smaller by her messenger pick-me-ups. She had an uncanny ability to send me little love notes via memes and videos at a time when I could use the encouragement. She was all heart and truly loved all of you. She enjoyed her grandbabies immensely. During COVID restrictions, she gave us ideas on how to keep going without losing our minds and she’d often refer to the things her grandbabies were doing. She was blessed to have such a beautiful, supportive family. <3 I was blessed to have her beautiful support. <3
