Julie (Swan) Antonious (1977-2024)
Julie Antonious (née Swan), aged 47, of Marblehead, MA, passed away on June 12, 2024. Born on January 4, 1977, in Malden, Massachusetts, she lived a life characterized by her resolute determination, artistic passion, and remarkable intelligence.
A proud alumna of Revere High School, Julie’s life was a testament to the love she held for her family, her art, and the many joys she found in life’s simple pleasures. Known for her sharp wit and the ability to brighten any room, she was also a dedicated mother, deeply proud of her daughters, Isabelle and Chloe.
Julie’s creative spirit found expression in her love for painting and drawing, her adventurous travels, and her enjoyment of music, particularly the works of Dave Matthews. She was a fashion enthusiast with an eye for style, always leaving a lasting impression with unique and vibrant ensembles.
She is survived by her daughters, Isabelle Antonious and Chloe Alexandra Murtagh; her mother, Darlene Swan; her stepfather, Thomas Shea; son-in-law, Nicholas Kelleher; sister, Melanie Blackstock; and brother-in-law, Adam Blackstock. Julie also leaves behind a niece and nephew, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, James Swan.
A memorial service in Julie’s honor will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Boston Cremation in Malden, MA. The family invites all who knew and loved Julie to join them in celebrating her life and legacy.
In keeping with the traditional care she valued, Boston Cremation is providing services to Julie’s family during this time of remembrance. Julie’s memory will be cherished as a guiding light to all who were graced by her presence.

My sincerest condolences to Julie’s family for their loss. Truly a sad loss to all of us who knew her. Will always remember taking Julie and Paulina, my two favorite ladies from the 99 out on the town. That was and always will be in my memories going forward.
