Charles J. Mauchan

Charles Joseph Mauchan, born on October 16, 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts, passed away at his
home in Wayland on July 5, 2020 surrounded by his family. He is predeceased by his parents Mary
and Joseph Mauchan, and his siblings Patricia Mauchan, Beverly Langille and Maureen McLaughlin.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara, and two children Renee Perry and her
husband Chris of Millbury, and Carter Mauchan and his wife Caroline of Framingham. He leaves
behind four grandchildren, Keely, Peyton, Ciara and Charlie, who he loved to be around and who
brought him so much joy; a brother, Donald Mauchan, and his wife Judy of Marlboro; a sister Donna
Girard and her partner Bruce Swanson; and many nieces and nephews who also feel this loss.

Charlie loved his family, boating, model trains and his 1965 Buick Wildcat. Charlie spent many
summers cruising down the Charles River with friends and family and attending antique car shows.

Charlie loved to tell jokes and just talk with people, and was known for handing out candy to people
he met. He was the guy who would give you the shirt off of his back and dropped everything to help
someone in need. May he be whole again in body and mind cruising away in his beautiful red car.
