Barbara Procopio
Barbara Procopio passed away peacefully on September 28, 2021 at Lighthouse Nursing Center in Revere. She was born May 14, 1926 to the late Edward Lantz and Cora (Haskell) Lantz. She was a talented artist who loved to paint, sew, quilt and write stories and poems.
She leaves behind a daughter Valerie Martin Scott of Boston & sons Ronald Shauhgnessy of Waltham, MA and his wife Kim, and Philip Shaughnessy of Groton, CT. Barbara was the beloved “Grammy” of MaryAnne Shaughnessy, Angel Shaughnessy, Richard Martin and his wife Tanya, Sherrie Livingston and her husband Mark, Christine Martin, Thomas Shaughnessy, Michael Shaughnessy and his wife Karine & (the late) William Curtis, and “Great Grammy” of Jacob Martin, Danika Martin, Avery Livingston, Briella Shaughnessy, William Shaughnessy, David Shaughnessy (the late) Stephen Taylor. She was predeceased by husbands William Joseph Shaughnessy and Albert C. Procopio.
All are invited to attend a Celebration of Barbara’s life on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 9-11am at Boston Cremation, 287 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148. A prayer service will start at 10:30am.

Deepest sympathies to all her loved ones. Seemed like a wonderful woman…..never a good time to lose a loved one.
