Courtney Ann Hartwell

Our beloved Courtney Ann Hartwell (33) passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2022. Courtney a lifelong resident of Littleton MA, was born on October 8, 1988.  After graduating from Littleton High School in 2007 and UMass Lowell in 2012, Courtney went on to have a very successful career in finance.

Loved by many, we remember Courtney as a beautiful, brave soul with an infectious laugh; a devoted mother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend. We see Courtney in her three children – Kristy, Derek, and Charlotte – who inherited her piercing blue eyes and fiercely independent attitude. She inspired them to be true to themselves and they inspired her to fight her hardest every day to create a better life for herself and her family. She always had a smile on her face, a joke on her lips, and a Dunkin iced coffee in hand. Whether she was giving her kids a bath, soaking up the sun at Salisbury beach, or playing cards with her family; Courtney made sure to cherish every moment while she lived life to the fullest.

Courtney lives on through her children and in the hearts of everyone that knew her and we will miss her deeply. Until we meet again we look for her in all the little things and will always remember vinegar goes on everything, especially pickles!

In lieu of flowers please send photos and stories of happy memories with Courtney to chartwell.memories@gmail.com to be shared with her children as they grow.

This world will miss Courtney’s kindness, compassion and humor. I am grateful for the time we shared together. I was always impressed by her pursuit of self evolution. She pushed herself to be a better mom, sister, daughter, human. She was wise, yet teachable. It is a special combo. My heart is heavy. She loved her kiddos with everything she had. You are in my thoughts & prayers.
