Daniel Charles Winn, 70, of Wakefield, Massachusetts, died on April 18, 2024. Dan Winn is survived by his wife Wendy W. Winn, and his siblings, Matthew, Alice (and husband Tom Miller), Sheila (and husband Tim Barnes), Jennifer (and husband Andrew Smedira), and Kate. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Throughout his life Dan loved reading, poetry, art, music, and theatre. His enthusiasm for sports, especially rugby, was shared by his many good friends. He particularly loved visiting Maine with his family. 

In accordance with Dan’s final wishes, no formal memorial services are planned, rather a gathering in celebration of his life will be planned later. Dan’s memory (and love of reading) can be honored by donating to First Literacy, 160 Boylston St., Boston, MA 02116 (firstliteracy.org).
