David Ronald “Ron” Kingham, 77, of Boxford, MA, passed away on April 19, 2023. Ron was born on December 22, 1945, in Greeley, Colorado. He was a man of remarkable strength, not only physically but also in character.

Ron’s journey to becoming the strongest man began as one of the smallest among us. As a premature baby, he faced challenges and overcame them with time and determination. Despite issues with his hearing, Ron refused to let it define him. Rather than relying on physical strength, he developed a thoughtful and measured approach to life, carefully considering his responses to those who criticized him. This calm and deliberate nature became his signature, earning him respect and admiration from all who knew him.

His true strength came from not using his size to overpower others but rather to make peace. Ron had a unique ability to find the middle ground, bringing harmony to his coworkers and family alike. He carried the weight of this responsibility with grace and humility, ensuring that those around him found solace in his presence.

In Matthew 11: 28-30, it is written, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Ron has now laid down his burden and found eternal rest.

Survived by his loving wife, Chris Kingham, and their children, Catherine MacConmara (Kingham) and Noah Kingham, Ron leaves a lasting legacy. He was also blessed with six grandchildren, including Brian and Realtin MacConmara, Annajean, William, Lewis, and James Kingham, who will cherish his memory.

A ceremony to honor Ron’s life will be held on July 21, 2023. The details of the service will be shared with family and close friends.
