Dennis Joseph Martineau, beloved uncle, godfather, brother, son, and friend to many, passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 73. 

Dennis was preceded by his brother Charles Stefan Martineau, sister Debra Ann Hawkins, and parents Eileen Marie Davis and Dennis Martineau. 

Dennis is survived by his goddaughter Amanda Richardson of Stoughton, MA, nephew Charles Morrill of Denver, Colorado, nephew Micah Martineau of Leominster, MA, niece Erika Jean Martineau Pappas of Cold Spring Harbor, NY,  brother-in-law Paul “Pepper: Hawkins of Wilsonville, Alabama; and many family members and friends in Massachusetts and Alabama. 

Dennis lived most of his life in Stoughton, MA. He loved to walk, and with the ability to converse with anyone on any topic, he often came home with amazing tales of interesting people he encountered in his travels. An avid reader, one of Dennis’ happiest places was the library. Born with a passion for cars, his encyclopedic knowledge of automobile and racing history is legendary. He will be lovingly remembered for his adventurous spirit, his great big pushes on the swings, and many good times with family and friends.
