In lieu of flowers, it was Donna’s wish for all her friends and relatives to perform
an anonymous act of kindness in her memory.
“…so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done
in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:4.

My sympathies for your loss. I know she loved dearly her boys and husband. I hope you all find comfort in knowing Donna “…walks before God in the light of life.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭56:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Donna was truly beautifully and wonderfully made.

So appropriate her wishes of “an act of kindness.” An act of kindness is what Donna showed to me being my Teaching Leader in BSF when I first came to Hopkinton. She sacrificed her time to teach many something eternally worth knowing.

It’s not goodbye but till we meet again my Dear Sister-in-Christ.

““As the Father has loved Donna, so has Jesus loved Donna. Now Donna remains in their love.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭15:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

My condolences in your loss of Donna. She was very loved and she was so good and kind to everyone who knew her. Always quick with a smile, a clever remark, or a helping hand, Donna was a true and dear friend. She will be missed.

I will keep her memory always. May God bless Donna and give comfort to all who love her.

Donna and I were neighbors in Houston , Texas in the early 1990’s. Our boys , Michael Riga and Neall Brick were inseparable best friends . As our lives took us in different geographic directions .. Donna and I lost touch .. UNTIL Facebook connected us.
I spoke with Donna in January. She told me she was dying . I was / am in total awe of how brave she was . We talked about what she was feeling . I know how much she loved Bob and the boys … that love Will give them the strength to eventually carry on . I wish all of us could be as honest, loving and brave as Donna Riga. Her message of giving to one another .. to be kind .. is such a generous gift . Rest In Peace, Donna…. We will do our very best to carry on . Most of all you will be present with us every time we shake a hand , give a hug .. and offer kindness. Love … Hope and Scot Brick .

I had the privilege of serving with Donna at Bible Study Fellowship in Hopkinton. She shared her Love of Jesus quietly, Gracefully and with Wisdom. She Loved and was Loved in return. Her comments on one difficult passage from I Corinthians I:18 have stood out to me since. ( I Corinthians 1:18 ) “ The message of the Cross is foolish to those headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God.” It is difficult but Donna trusted God with her and those she loves. Please know I continue to pray for you, her dear family and rejoice for Donna!
