Edgar W. Veno (1932-2024)
Edgar W. Veno of Stoneham, entered eternal rest on January 11th 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was 91. Born and raised in Wakefield, Mass. He was the son of the late John and Dorothy (Hill) Veno. Husband of Marguerite (Matera) Veno of Stoneham. Survived by his children Rhonda Rolli and her husband Steven of Stoneham. Darlene Magno and her husband Anthony of Stoneham. and Michael Veno of Salem, N.H. He was the Loving Papa to Gianna Meuse, Christopher Rolli, Toni Nicole Magno, Michael, Austin and Isabella Veno. Loving Great Grandfather (old Papa) to Ella and Timothy Meuse.
He was the dear brother of William (Billy) Veno of Wakefield, Lawrence Veno of PA, and Helena Enos of Burlington and the late Evelyn Pettigrew and Dorothy Whitcomb. Ed is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Ed served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War and was an active member of the Saugus Elks.
Services will conclude with burial at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield, Mass.
All services will be private.
