Helen G. Kinney (Sceppa) (1946-2023)
| Helen G. Kinney (Sceppa), 77, of Everett, MA, passed away on November 16, 2023. She was born on July 27, 1946, in Medford, MA. Helen was a loving homemaker and a dedicated caregiver to the elderly. Her infectious love for the elderly was obvious , as she often went above and beyond to spend time with them. Helen was known for her love of family, pets, and wrestling. She had a sweet tooth and enjoyed indulging in a good rum cake whenever the occasion arose. She also had a great sense of humor and loved a good dirty joke. Helen’s hobbies included cuddling with her cat “Holly” and watching WWE wrestling. Helen was survived by her husband Daniel Kinney Sr. of Everett and their 4 children. Daniel Kinney Jr. and his wife Jodi of North Andover, Cheryl Kinney and her partner Robert Jelley of Tewksbury, Robert Kinney of Methuen, and Lisa Lewis and her husband Jeffrey of Haverhill. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Sceppa and her husband Hollis Graves of Billerica, Elizabeth Sceppa and her husband Ernie Dutra of Rumford, RI, Kathy and Phillip Weick of Columbus, IN, and her brother Joseph Sceppa of Norwood, MA. Helen was preceded in death by her father, Giuseppe Sceppa, and mother, Helen (Connolly) Sceppa. Helen was a proud grandmother to her two granddaughters Kristen and Kellieanne Lewis and to her only grandson Brandan Kinney. She has three great granddaughters as well, Winona, Maeve and Maisie Dora. A funeral service will be held at Boston Cremation, located at 287 Main St, Malden, MA, on November 27, 2023. The service will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am. Please join the family in celebrating Helen’s life and honoring her memory. |
