Every day since 1st grade I would ride my bicycle into the Hurley family driveway to get Peggy’s brother Danny to go to school at St. Francis Xavier in South Weymouth. Every day Mrs Hurley would say, “Eddy keep Danny on the sidewalk on his bike” as we went off to school, Peggy would laugh and wave and say “have a good day”…..Peggy asked to invite her to go to Mass with my 97 yr old mother next month who she knew growing up in Weymouth. What a surprise to see her passing after just messaging her last week. God Bless the Hurley family from Park Avenue So. Weymouth…all joined together now in the Heavens!

Peg played my mom in a Footlight Club theatre production in the mid -80s, and I became a huge fan of this funny, compassionate, sassy, smart and capable woman. We reconnected on Facebook several years ago, and I was so happy to “talk” to her regularly in that way. I will miss her! My condolences and prayers are with her family and friends — she was a beautiful spirit. ❤️

I met Peg through her brother Dan as well. Her great sense of humor and intelligent wit is a thing too rarely found in this world. I always enjoyed seeing her when she visited New Hampshire. Both Peg and Dan were a hoot to hang out with by a fire pit.

A “smart cookie” as we would say in the old ‘hood. Met her at The Footlight Club (where she had been secretary) in the 80’s. A stellar rendition of “Ladies Who Lunch” in Sondheim’s ‘Company’ and other wonderful performances. Miss her, them and then…..

Helen /Peggy was a classmate at NDA and a smart, thoughtful, calm person, who added insightful thoughts to our class discussions.
She was also active in theatre there, as was I. Peggy was a talenred, kind, person with a dry sense of humor. May God give her soul rest and peace. Trish LePrie.
