Helen Nickerson
Helen Nickerson 83 of Woburn MA passed away peacefully at Parlin Hospice on April 7,2018. She was born in Cambridge on April 13,1934 to James P. Kelly and Grace (Johnson) Kelly. She was one of 9 children. She worked in the banking industry for over 60 years. She retired from Century Bank at the age of 82. She loved her job and only retired because of her illness.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband Joseph.She is survived by her three daughters Nancy Parker of Woburn MA, Susan Parker of Charlestown MA and Debra Morrison of Medford. Her sister Sheila Worley of Poway CA, Two granddaughters Brittany Innes and her husband Kevin, Meredith Morrison of Medford and three great grandsons Robbie, Reilly and Gavin and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Helen enjoyed spending time with her family, bingo with her niece Maureen and her trips to Foxwoods. She will be missed by all of us who knew and loved her. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday April 12 2018 10am at St Agnes Church 51 Medford St Arlington. We hope that all family and friends will attend. Auntie Helen was a generous person with a big heart. She always had a funny story. I admired her strong work ethic and beautiful spirit! We will miss her greatly!
Words escape me to express the LOVE and respect I have and hold dear for this LADY. It will just have to surprise to say we LOVE and Miss you so very much. We will always remember the many times we had the pleasure of you coming across country to spend a week or so at our home. You were always the perfect guest.
Sheila is in the Hospital and no telling of her thoughts that are running throughout her mind. I’m sure it is of who she called “Goody Two Shoes. The whole Kelly family were very close knit and pure Irish to the bone. Now there is only1 left of the 9 Kids.
Helen thank God you are free of the pain you have suffered for so long. We are so glad that we were a part of your life and will continue to hold you deep within our Hearts, Prayers and thoughts.
