Howard Kenneth Fisher, 70, of New Bedford, MA, died on September 19, 2023 after a short illness. He was the beloved son of Philip E. Fisher and Mimi M. Fisher, the brother of Dr. John E. Fisher (Susan D. Sommovilla) and the late Deborah Fisher Rubenzahl (Dr. Ira H. Rubenzahl), and the uncle of Jennifer N. Barrett, Stephanie H. Schenkel and Benjamin D. Fisher. Howard was a talented musician and a gifted visual artist, educated at Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He was a life-long learner, a good soul and will be greatly missed. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, or to The Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research (CNDR) at The University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. An appreciation of Howard’s life is planned.
