Jean “Jeanie” Hosein

Jean “Jeanie” Hosein of Trinidad & Dallas, Texas peacefully passed away on April 18th, 2020. She was 73 years old.
She is survived by her six children, five sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, twelve grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Two loving brothers, two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and wonderful friends whom she loved dearly.

Jeanie was the strongest, most poised, respectable, kind hearted and beautiful soul to anyone who knew her. Nothing was ever too much to help someone.
We her children have not only lost our mom but also our best friend. Her love will continue to grow in each of us and we will strive to make her proud every moment of our lives.
Our sincere thanks go to all the amazing staff at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Dana Farber who went far and beyond in making our mom as comfortable and happy in the last couple of months.

Thank you to all who have expressed their sympathy and have given us the strength and support through this very difficult time. We appreciate all of you.

And the mother said, “I have reached the end of my journey. And now I know that the end is better than the beginning, for my children can walk alone, and their children after them!”
And the children said, “You will always walk with us, Mother, even when you have gone through the gates.”
And they stood and watched her as she went on alone, and the gates closed after her. And they said, “We cannot see her, but she is with us still. A mother like ours is more than a memory. She is a living presence!.”
