Jeryl Ann Leben ( Dyer) passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023, in Boston Massachusetts, at the age of 67 after a long hospitalization.  She was born on June 27, 1956, in Weymouth Massachusetts to Barbara and Jerry Dyer.

Jeryl is survived by her daughter Lisa Whittemore, son Brian Leben and 3 grandchildren; Brooke,Ryan and Justin Whittemore

Jeryl resided in Braintree Massachusetts for over 50 years , and graduated from Braintree High School in 1974.  In her teenage years she enjoyed dance , specifically ballet , and went on to teach younger children.

Throughout her life, Jeryl embraced her role as a homemaker and mother , creating a warm and loving environment for her family. When her kids were grown she decided to continue working with children, and found her true passion as a Supervisory Paraprofessional at the Donald E. Ross School. She worked there for many years, filling the halls with her artwork and mural paintings, some of which are still on those walls today. 

Jeryl was a devoted mother and Nana to her grandchildren. They were the true joys in her life. She was a true light in so many lives, and always had a smile on her face. She always found the good in everything and in everyone.  She was strong and resilient, and proved so in the last few months of her life more than ever.  In her free time she enjoyed music, watching movies ,drawing, painting , knitting , spending time with friends , family and her cats.  She had a great love for animals of all kinds. 

Jeryl will be deeply missed.  Her memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Per her request no funeral or memorial services will be held.
