Johnny “John” William Popp, 65, of Malden, MA, passed away on April 1, 2024. He was born on September 27, 1958, in Winthrop, MA to the late Barbara and Raymond Popp.

John, known to many as “Johnny,” was a retired worker of the USPS. He had a love for animals,especially his dog Pugz. Graduating from Revere High School, he cherished his educational journey.

He is survived by his brothers Richard of VA, Raymond of Revere, Robert of Waltham, sisters Virginia Stec of VA, Donna Coffey of Westboro and Deborah Lawlor of Everett. Devoted friend of Frank Bourdon of Weymouth, and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his sister Patty Ann Popp.

At the family’s request, services will be private. Contributions can be made in John’s memory to Animal Charities or any charity of your choice.
