Jorge Pacheco
Jorge C. Pacheco, of Lowell, MA, passed away on Monday, September 20th with his family by his side to comfort him, after a brief illness.
Jorge was born on May 19, 1966 at Ponta Delgada, Azores. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 19 where he lived in Somerville, MA with his parents and his siblings.
Jorge worked tireless as a janitor for over 30 years in Boston and for the past 3 years at a company in Chelmsford, MA.
Jorge had a bit of a sweet tooth, he enjoyed his Portuguese sweets (malassadas, pão doce and Portuguese rice pudding). He enjoyed going to the Portuguese Feasts, going to antique flea markets on weekends, working on old cars and putting in new pieces. He also enjoyed watching action packed movies on weekends and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Irlanda Pacheco, his children Stephanie Diane Pacheco, Paulo Jorge Pacheco, Kathleen Fernandes and Gilliard Chantre. His grandchildren Carter Marie Marciano, Mason Jorge Pacheco and Jailson Fernandes and also survived by several siblings, nieces and nephews.
Jorge will be terribly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Jorge’s life will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 in Boston Cremation, 287 Main St. Malden from 9 to 11am. Burial services will be held privately.
