Joseph (Sonny) Vittorioso


Joseph (Sonny) Vittorioso born in Somerville on February 2nd, 1939 and long time resident of Malden,Ma, passed unexpectedly on July 8th, 2022. Husband of late Elaine, loving father of Ann Marie Vittorioso of Malden, Valerie Gotell of Hudson, FL, Bruce and Paula Albert of Lomita CA, Joseph and Christine Vittorioso of Stoneham.  Devoted Grandfather to Ryan, David and Brooke Desouza, Joseph Gotell, Meagan, Samantha and William Albert, Joseph and Julianna Vittorioso.  Devoted Great Grandfather to Camron, Kaela, Carter and Allora.  Brother of Anne Camarata of Fl and Anthony Vittorioso of NH.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Joe was a barber for 60+ years in Boston and Malden.  He enjoyed family times together, boating, RC modeling, breakfasts with family and friends and tinkering with anything and everything. 
Joe served in the Coast Guard in his early years.
Preceded in death by his friend and son-in-law Ritchie Gotell

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday July 13, 2022 from 12:00-2:00PM at Boston Cremation, 287 Main Street Malden MA 02148.

    We were so saddened to hear of Sonny’s passing. He was a good man. Take some comfort in the fact that he lived his life with all his family being part of his life right to the end. Not everyone can say that. We’re sorry that we can’t be with you in person but your family is in our thoughts.
