Lenny was born on April 8, 1954, in the Dominican Republic. He, parents and 2 of his siblings emigrated to New York City when he was 7. He attended George Washington High School and in 1974 the family moved to Boston where he studied to be certified for what would become his life career.
Lenny went on to become a professional Spanish language translator, his jobs took him to many states advocating for many social issues. He was contracted for translation jobs by the mayor’s office, Hospitals and various charities. He loved his job and spent his life in service to others. His interests included volunteering for the Walk for Hunger and for Cancer Awareness and many others.
He was a very good uncle to his nieces and nephews, he enjoyed taking them on many outings when they were younger, and especially loved their trips to the movies and the children’s museum and community festivals. He was devoted to our mother and was her caregiver for many years, until her passing.
He was very generous and took joy in giving small token gifts to family. He loved his pet cats and spent time pampering them, walking around the neighborhood in pet carriages. Lenny also loved Coco, the dog, and would always dog sit when her mom traveled. We will miss our big brother and uncle.
Per his wishes, there will not be a funeral or memorial service.
