Lucille Sarro

Lucille Sarro, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024.

Despite her gruff exterior, Lucille had a heart of gold buried deep beneath layers of stubbornness and sarcasm. She will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her daughter and grandchildren.

Lucille was a true character, known for never shying away from a debate or confrontation when it came to defending what she believed in. Yet, beneath her fiery exterior lay a heart overflowing with love and loyalty. She always managed to keep us on our toes and entertained.

In her own unique way, Lucille touched the lives of those around her. Despite the occasional disagreement or heated debate, she taught us valuable lessons about unconditional love.

Lucille leaves behind her only child, Desirae, her two grandchildren Kayleigh and Kaleb, sister Janice and nephew Eric. In lieu of flowers, she would have preferred donations to Mental Health America.

Though her absence will be felt deeply, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, probably sharing a laugh with someone up above.

Rest easy, Lucille. You may have been a handful, but you were our handful, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way

To the woman who stood by my sister Anne Paula and I through thick and thin .We did a lot of traveling together to Maine and tore up Las Vegas years ago . She was a lot of fun and will be so missed . She was loyal, kind ,loving and truly another sister to us . I know she’s rejoicing with all the love she’s feeling from her reunion with her lost loves of her life . Wait for me at the gate my dear friend until we meet again…..

So sorry to hear about Lucille’s passing we lost touch years ago but she has always remained deep within our hearts. She was my mother’s best friend back then and a second mom to us kids. She was the comfort and safe place I needed as a child. She will never be forgotten. Rest easy beautiful, you have definitely changed many lives with your compassion, big heart and fierce personality. You will be missed.
