Ramon Jesus Rodriguez (1945-2023

Ramon Jesus Rodriguez a husband, father, uncle, cousin, brother, grandfather, has gained his
wings on November 22, 2023, following a long bout with Dementia. Ramon 78, of Waltham,
MA was born on August 15, 1945, in Tunas de Zaza, Cuba. He leaves behind his daughters Lisa,
Alexis and Kristina, sole grand-child Samantha, his brother Robert, sister-in-law Amanda, 6
other siblings in Cuba, niece/cousins Elbia, Mariah, Yasmine, Jayla, Aniyah, Angelique, Craig,
Gabrielle, Uncle Ricky, Aunt Heather, nephews Peter, Alex and son-in law David (Lisa’s
husband). He was the husband to the late Alexandra Rodriguez. Ramon’s generosity knew no
bounds, and his warm spirit touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His
45 years in Cambridge, MA were a testament to his resilience, courage, and unwavering
commitment to his family.
Ramon was a dedicated and loving husband, and father to his daughters-three beautiful women
who were the heart of his world. Samantha, his granddaughter brought immeasurable joy to his
life, and he took great pride in being her grandfather.
In addition to his devotion to his family, Ramon had a successful career as a creative furniture
designer. His artistic talents and innovative designs left a lasting impact on the industry.
Outside of work, Ramon had a vibrant array of hobbies. He loved playing dominoes and Bingo,
dancing, boxing, watching baseball, and spending time with his family and friends. These
activities brought him immense joy and allowed him to create cherished memories with his loved
ones.
Ramon Jesus Rodriguez will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His sense of humor,
strength, kindness and enduring love will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the
privilege of sharing in his life.
The Celebration of Life will be held privately for friends and family on Saturday December 9th
from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m., reception to follow.
