Roberto “Papi” Maisonet, age 91, of Cambridge, Mass, passed away on March 25, 2024. Born in Juncos , Puerto Rico on August 16, 1932, he was a humble, soft-spoken, and kindhearted man. Roberto was known for his generosity and love for his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he cherished dearly. He had a great sense of humor, loved to dance, and had a passion for music. Throughout his life, he exemplified strength and was always willing to go above and beyond for his wife.

Roberto worked in construction for many years, dedicating himself to his career. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music, watching baseball, dancing, and spreading love to everyone around him. He was a caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, with a special bond with all his grandchildren, whom he considered his own children.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Consuelo, their daughter Carmen, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, his son Jr, Harim, Luis (Carico), and his daughter Maritza.

Roberto’s life will be remembered and celebrated by his family and friends. As per his wishes, there will be no public service. May his kind and loving spirit live on in the hearts of all those who knew him.
