Ruth LeClair


Ruth LeClair of Bellingham MA passed away on April 9 th , 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Born on April 5, 1941, to the late Arthur and Sadie Reed, she was raised in Beverly MA. Preceded by her husband Arthur LeClair and son Robert LeClair, she will be honored and cherished by the loved ones she leaves behind. She was the sister to Arthur Reed and his wife Midge. She shared a special bond with her cousin Pat Maynard. She was the mother in law to Sue LeClair. She was the mother to Barbara Fay and her husband Peter, Sheala Polo and her partner Dave Moll, Deborah Belleau and her husband Eric, Timothy LeClair and his wife Lynn. She was the grandmother to, Felicia Edwards and her husband Mike, Courtney Polo and her partner Tom, Natasha Polo and her Fiancé Joey, Jared Bertone and his wife Allie, Ciara Fay and her partner Ryan, Riley Belleau, Aiden Belleau, Britney LeClair, Emma LeClair, Brooke LeClair, Karissa LeClair, Ryan LeClair and his wife Callie. She was a Great Grandmother to Kyra Edwards, Lorelai Edwards, Jayden Edwards, Camden Polo, Abel Bertone, Rowen Bertone and Robert LeClair.

Ruth raised her family in Danvers MA before moving to Bellingham where she has resided for the past twenty plus years. She was a woman of great faith and had a heart that was larger than life! Community, sharing and giving “back” is what mattered most to her. She would give away anything that she had if it meant that she was able to help someone else. She had an infectious personality that was like no other. If you met her, she considered you a friend. Ruth loved to cook and loved to share what she made even more. Her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren meant the world to her! She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 16, 2022, at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, located at 39 Mechanic Street, Bellingham MA, 02019

    Nana Ruth, I am gutted to learn of your passing. I loved you the most! You always made me feel so loved and special. I’m sorry we lost touch and couldn’t visit as often as we wanted. Barbie, Sheala, Debbie and Timmy please accept my deepest condolences and please find me on FB if you wish.
