Serena MacDonald


We regretfully announce the passing of Serena-Lyn MacDonald age 42 of Boston, MA, who passed away on the evening of 8/03/2022. 

Serena is survived by her daughters, Ebonyi Redley and Kaia Isabella Moise of Everett, MA. Her mother Paula MacDonald and Stepfather Reynold DiFilippo of Revere, MA. Siblings Clarice Eldridge of Saugus, MA; Melissa MacDonald of Peabody, MA; Scott MacDonald of Beverly, MA; and Vanessa Williams of Woburn, MA. Preceded by her father, Malcolm MacDonald, formerly of Everett, MA. As well as many friends and family. Serena grew up in Chelsea/Everett, MA. 

The family is deeply saddened and shocked by Serenas’ sudden death. Serena was born on 3/08/1980 and attended Shurtleff, Mary C. Burke, and Everett High Schools. She then attended Esthetic classes at Elizabeth Grady, where she became a licensed Esthetician. 

Our family is grateful to know that Serena is finally at peace. 

Services will be held at Elm Street Baptist Church, 14 Jackson Ave, Everett, MA, on Saturday, August 13th at 11 am. Followed by a celebration of her life downstairs. All are welcome.

    My deepest sympathy and condolences to all her family Serena was such a friendly child she a wild one loved her energy as a child she was kind funny and vivacious little girl she was very kind to my daughter Melanie she never saw her disabilities only a friend that she played with she loved getting wet in the rain and loved eating ❤️ 😢 she was truly a kind and loving person and she will be missed to her daughter’s remember the good times ..and know that she is know at peace. Godspeed RIP 🙏 I will always remember you as a fun loving little girl that cared and loved my precious angel Melanie say hi to her for me..

    My middle child, my sidekick and mini me. I know you are sleeping in Gods memory until the resurrection when I will see you again. I’m going to hug you sooo tight.
