My most Sincere Condolences to Suzette’s family. Suzette and I graduated from Nursing School in 1975. She and other nursing friends frequently studied together and Suzette was always the life of our study group. Suzette was such a dedicated professional to her profession and her patients absolutely adored her. I will miss her beautiful smile and warm personality. With Most Sincere Condolences, Richard Mulhern
So sorry about her, we finished school togather and was one of a few who would stop and talk with me. Have asked many times how to get in touch with her but no one would give me any info. Prayers for her family
I always admired her sweet smile and her kindness she showed to everyone she knew. She was a friend to all.

Suzette was such a pretty girl…was a loyal customer at my Pharmacy for over 20 years….your Dad and my Dad were the best of friends…Dad picked Allen up when he returned from being a POW WWII and brought him back to Rayville…always felt a special connection to the Silk family…lots of admiration and fondness for your dear sister….my sincere condolences
I’m so sorry to ready of Suzette’s passing. I remember Suzette and her family from attending Sunday morning services at the First Baptist Church of Rayville. Suzette’s mother, Melda, drove my mother to Houston to visit me back in the 1980’s or 1990’s. The Silks were such a nice family. I haven’t seen the family members in decades.
To Suzette’s survivors, please accept my deepest condolences. Like others have said in their tributes, Suzette had a beautiful smile and such a sweet disposition. She will be missed.
Leigh Ann, I’m very sorry to hear about Suzette. She was a good friend to everyone. I went to school from first grade to graduation in 1971! I had heard that she had schleroderma which is a very rare disease which is also extremely painful. I know…..I watched my own Mother suffering for 26 years. I am so sorry Suzette had to suffer with this disease! It’s so hard to watch your beloved sister suffering through the pain n agony that goes along with this disease. I also worked with Suzette at the Richland Parish Health Unit. Suzette never spoke an unkind word to anyone. She was loved by all! Leigh Ann, I loved your precious sister! May she forever Rest in Peace! After all, she has a new body with no more suffering!
