Thomas (Tom) D MacNeil, 87, a longtime resident of Somerville, MA, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024. Tom was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on March 1, 1937. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth M. MacNeil. He is survived by his children Timothy MacNeil, John “Jackie” MacNeil and his wife Claudia MacNeil, Inez Fabiano, and Elizabeth (Betty) Desrochers. Tom was predeceased by his son Thomas MacNeil, his daughter in-law Lisa MacNeil and son in-law’s, John R. Fabiano and Donald L. Desrochers Sr, along with his grandson Michael A Fabiano. Tom also Known as “Gramp” was survived by his 15 grandchildren their spouses and 20 great grandchildren whom cherished him so greatly. Tom loved nothing more than going camping and fishing with his family. He will be missed so dearly by his family, friends, and neighbors. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation in Boston Cremation, 287 Main St., Malden on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 10-12 noon.
