Thomas “Tommy” Joyce (1961-2024)
Thomas “Tommy” Joyce, 62 of Malden, MA passed away on January 6, 2024. Tommy, a loving son, brother, uncle, and great uncle, will be missed by all who knew him.
Born November 16, 1961 in Dorchester, MA, Tommy brought joy and laughter to those around him. He had a special talent for imitating Donald Duck’s voice, bringing smiles to the faces of everyone he encountered. Tommy’s artistic skills were showcased through his laser woodwork and mirror creations, which he generously shared with his family. In his younger days, he was an avid candlepin bowler and a passionate cook. Over the past several years, he could often be seen strolling the neighborhood with his beloved cat, Taz. Tommy’s nieces have fond memories of him sitting on his front porch on Ferry Street, listening to rock music and waiving to everyone. To his great niece, he was the coolest uncle anyone could have asked for.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Phyllis Joyce; his brother and sister-in-law, Paul V. Joyce, Jr. and Elena Joyce; his sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Bill Scannell; his niece and her husband, Erin and Ryan Baker; his niece, Amanda Joyce; his niece, Colleen Joyce; and his great nieces, Cheyenne Baker and Charlotte Baker. He was proceeded in death by his father, Paul V. Joyce, Sr.
