Timothy P. Mooney


Timothy P. Mooney of Abington, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2022,
surrounded by his loving family after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on August 12, 1961 to
the late Peter and Katherine Mooney. Tim was born and raised in Dorchester, MA for 33 years
before moving to Kingston, MA to raise his family. He is survived and remembered always by
his loving wife of 37 years, Susan (Fitzgerald) Mooney, his children; Katelin of Abington,
Stephanie of Boston, Jane of Quincy, and Timothy Jr. of Abington, along with his brother and
sisters; John, and his wife Mary of Fort Pierce, FL, Jane, and her husband Frank of Houston,
TX, and Annmarie of Marshfield, MA. He will also be missed and remembered by all of his
loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and countless friends and
customers. Tim loved three things most in life; his family, his business, and music. He was a
hard-working milkman, owning and operating his own business for over 40 years. His love for
music and playing the guitar will be celebrated for generations to come. A funeral mass will be
held at Saint Gregory‘s church at 2223 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, MA at 10 AM on Friday,
April 8, 2022.

    This one hurts my heart…a lot. Tim was a “constant” in my life twice a week for the past 8 years when he’d call and place/pick up his milk order. He was an absolutely great man. My heart goes out to his entire family.
    I take a little comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain or suffering.

    Damn I’m going to miss this guy…
