Tonio D. Ramos


Tonio D. Ramos, 46, of New Bedford, MA, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at his home. Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Paul D. Ramos and Dorothy L. Ramos, of Princeton, NJ, Tony, as family and friends knew him, grew up in South Dartmouth, attended JosephDeMelloElementary School, DartmouthMiddle School and graduated from DartmouthHigh School in 1985. After graduation from Dartmouth High, Tony served in the United States Marine Corps, earning a Rifle Marksmanship Badge and Meritious Mast (2d Award), and was honorably discharged. Following his service, Tony worked at various restaurants in Dartmouth and New Bedford as a chef and cook.

Tony’s homegoing service will be held at Seamen’s Bethel, 15 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, MA at 11 am on Saturday, August 3, 2013. Cards for the family can be sent to Dorothy Ramos, 9 Lambert Drive, Princeton, NJ08540. Donations can be made in his name to the Toys for Tots program at www.toysfortots.org.

    I am sorry for your lost Mrs. Dorothy. I know it has been over 3 years since Tony has passed, but I just found out this past weekend. I will be praying for you and your family. I know it has been years since you have seen or heard from me. Praying all is well for you.
