William “Fitzy” P. Fitzgerald
William “Fitzy” P. Fitzgerald, 57 of Peabody, MA formerly of Somerville, MA passed away on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer (acute myeloid leukemia).
Husband of 31 years to Kim Fitzgerald. Loving father to William, Derrik, and Scott. Devoted son to the late William and Frances Fitzgerald of Somerville, MA. Committed brother to the late Karen Ouellette formerly of Somerville, MA, Edward (Eddy) Fitzgerald of Vero Beach, Florida and Robert (Bobby) Fitzgerald of Leominster, MA. Proud uncle of Kristen Fiato of Burlington, MA and Greg Ouellette of Malden, MA.
Bill was loved by many and will be missed dearly. He demonstrated true courage throughout his battle with cancer. He was loved tremendously by his family and anyone who came to know him. Bill was a passionate sportsman, especially for fishing. He could often be found fishing with family and/or friends early in the mornings at Spy Pond. Both he and his amazing sense of humor will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to say goodbye to Bill at Boston Cremation at 287 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM on Friday August 18th, 2017. A funeral mass to follow at 11:00 AM next door at Sacred Hearts Church at 297 Main Street, Malden, MA 02148. Promptly following the funeral service a celebration of life to follow at Olde Magouns Saloon, 518 Medford Street, Somerville, MA 02145.

Fitz your truly are the bestguy. I really cherished our time together I absolutely loved every moment. All our fishing extravaganza many nights just hanging out in the yard playing golf on the PlayStation cooking out in the backyard I’ll never forget any of it love you brother rest in peace till we meet again
